systems carrying sediments or pollutants. |

is a Proprietary
Limited
company established to produce cultured Greenlip abalone.
Farmed systems offer a sustainable source of supply to satisfy
growing world demand that does not threaten or deplete wild
stocks.
SAS directors, investors and staff
gained valuable knowledge from early involvement in pioneering
abalone
farms. The company began construction of the SAS facility at
Boston Point in January 2000. |

The
site was chosen for access to deep clean water, proximity
to transport and processing infrastructure and central
position within the naturally occurring habitat of greenlip
abalone.
When
completed the farm will produce in excess of 70,000 kg whole
abalone per annum. |
